Submit work to All Art Works Grand Rapids
You are invited to submit work to this Fall’s juried All Art Works Show. The show will happen during the 1st week of Grand Rapids ArtPrize’s inaugural Project 1.
All Art Works is a platform created to connect art with art buyers as freely as possible by letting the quality of the work speak for itself!
All Art Works will present work by 200 artists at the beautifully renovated 37 Ottawa building from Sep. 6 - 10th.
Submission guidelines. (Please read these carefully!)
- There is a $15 non-refundable fee only if your work is selected. That means you will not be charged for submitting, only if accepted.
- Submissions must be received by Aug. 13th. Submissions after Aug. 13th will be too late for the show and won’t be considered. You will be notified by Aug. 15th whether your piece has been accepted.
- 2-D work only.
- Submit work no bigger than 16” in width and 30” tall. (1 ⅓ ft x 2 ½ ft). Sorry but this is due to the limited wall space, and we want to show as many artists as we can.
- All work must arrive unframed and either 1. On stretched canvas or 2. Mounted on wood at least 1/2” thick. Artists must agree to allow us to frame their work for this show. This will involve attaching a floater frame by screwing into the back of your artwork. This means all submissions. Everything in the show will have our frame on it. If your piece doesn’t sell we will carefully take the frame off before you retrieve it.
- All artwork will be for sale. Our commission structure is 60/40% of your listed price. In the event of any discounts or sales, they will be taken exclusively out of our 40%, never from the artists cut.
Note… It’s a great idea to price your painting to sell rather than marking it up for this show. On our site we have more people who have sold multiple pieces than have sold one. Because once someone sells one it's far more likely they will sell more.
At All Art Works we are more interested in creating sustainability for artists than selling just one of their pieces.
